The Constructionism Conference 2025 will take place from June 24 to June 27 in Zurich at ETH Zurich and PHZH (Zurich University of Teacher Education).
Since its inception with the Logo programming language in 1967, Constructionism has continually evolved, influencing countless educational tools and practices. As we prepare for Constructionism 2025 in Zurich, our theme, “Building communities, bridging ideas,” aims to honor the rich history of constructionist ideas while forging new paths in educational innovation.
This year, we seek to explore how constructionist ideas can inspire future advancements in learning technologies and methodologies. We invite you to join us in examining how the foundational principles of Constructionism can be reimagined in today's rapidly changing educational landscape.
Constructionism 2025 promises a vibrant platform for educators, researchers, and practitioners to share and discuss innovative practices and theoretical advancements. The conference will feature keynote speeches, interactive workshops, and diverse sessions that cover a wide range of topics related to constructionist learning.
The conference will be co-located with the Swiss Day for Computer Science Education, a conference full of workshops for Computer Science Teachers. The workshops are also open to any visitors of Constructionism 2025 (requiring free registration).
